April 10, 2021

We understand that working out from home can be new to a lot of our community. That’s why we’re here to guide you and help you get the most out of your home workout. No need to rush! Here are a few tips on how to correctly begin exercising at home.

1. Warm up

Always make sure you warm up before any workout. Making time for a warmup helps redirect your blood flow to your muscles, making them more pliable. This way you can increase your respiratory rate and ensure your muscles get the oxygen they need.

2. Pad it up

Protect your joints by using anexercise mat

3. Make space

Clear up your environment. Move furniture around a bit and make sure you have plenty of space to move and avoid possible injuries.

4. Hydrate

Have water close to you and drink plenty to hydrate your body.

5. Watch your form and posture

Improper workout techniques can lead to injury.

6. Rest!

Don’t push yourself over your limit! For every 30 minutes of exercise, set aside 7 to 10 minutes for recovery.
